Artist Gayla Hodson is a fine example of “Art with a Heart!” Her vibrant color palette and brilliantly finished works are sought after here and around the country! She is featured in American Art Collectors Magazine and was selected as one of the TOP 100 artist’s in the Midwest. Her work resides in many public and private collections across the country such as Chase Tower and the Indianapolis Public Library. Gayla states that “creating is as essential to me as air and water.” She has been drawing and painting since she was a small child. Her impetus to convert from teaching to painting full time was her mother, who was her biggest fan and who died of breast cancer in 2001. Gayla realized that all we have is the present so it should not be wasted. She says that her work nourishes her soul and it certainly has that effect on us and our clients!
